I understand art as a way to tackle the world‘s chaos and translate it into silence and emotions. My works are invitations to pause and feel the deep beauty of life in all its ambiguity.

During the painting process, each painting develops it’s own rules. Sometimes it stays gentle and quiet and ephemeral, sometimes it demands strong gestures and bold expressions. That, for me, is the beauty of art: no rules, everything is allowed…and suddenly something strange, but beautiful appears…It is a process, in which taking control is followed by elements of chance. You add, erase, add again until nothing bothers you any longer…
