„During the painting process, each painting develops it’s own rules. I never know in which direction a painting goes. Sometimes it stays gentle and quiet and ephemeral, sometimes it demands strong gestures and bold expressions. That, for me, is the beauty of art: no rules, everything is allowed…and suddenly something strange, but beautiful appears…It is a process, in which taking control is followed by elements of chance. You add, erase, add again until nothing bothers you any longer…“
